CYCLING
Bicycling is a great way to see The Bronx. Cycling conditions here are among the best in the city, especially on the Bronx Greenway, a network of paved paths through our beautiful parks. Here's one itinerary: Take your bike on the #2 subway and get off at Pelham Parkway. This is the start of the first officially designated segment of the East Coast Greenway Trail in New York State. This path runs along Pelham Parkway and through Pelham Bay Park to City Island, Orchard Beach and the Bartow Pell Mansion. (For a shorter ride into Pelham Bay Park, take the #6 subway to Pelham Bay station and catch the Greenway there.)
